Being surrounded by 10 of the loveliest little ladies I have met. They made me feel so loved as their substitute teacher and were really engaging in our discussions. I loved every second of it.

Heaven! Lyndon treated me to a night at the Temple Mineral Spa, shopping,  and relaxing at a cozy motel - kid-free! I came away feeling so rejeuvenated and ready to get back into life. Perfection.

Family Fun Night at the girls' school is always a good time. This year they hired amazing face painters who transformed our girls into gorgeous butterflies. It made me want to be little again.

Finally! The cold weather has subsided and it's warm enough for the kids to actually ENJOY the snow! They had better enjoy it quick before it melts. With nothing but temperatures on the plus side in sight, Spring is officially on it's way!

TJ has found a fun new creative outlet...making flowers! She has used every last flower I have making gorgeous layered flowers for her birthday invites and for me! She is creative in every way.

We enjoyed a nice dessert out at DQ with the Gemlichs after a phenomenal adult session of Stake Conference. We are so blessed to be surrounded by such stalwart members of the church and good friends!

Our first Mother-Daughter book club was a great success! We read "The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader" by C.S. Lewis and had a wonderful discussion on the book. I know we can't wait for the next one!

Making our own "Titles Of Liberty" with our Missionaries! This was a hit from the first moment those girl got to rip apart one of the elder's shirts to the moment we finished drawing all over them. We are proud of our little flag that shows everything we love and value. Everyone should have the missionaries over to dinner!

Winter seems to be dragging on SO long this year. March and it's still snowing outside. It is so easy to feel gloomy and yearn for some color and sunshine, again. While dining at our favorite Thai restaurant, I was gazing up at their uniquely beautiful lamps and felt myself smiling from the radiant beauty of it. It was like a bit of sunshine indoors! It is truly a simple thing, but it brought a tiny bit of summer into this cold and bitter prairie winter!

Who knew cutting the toes off of some knees socks could create so much fun and joy? We loved making this fun arm band thingies. The girls feel oh so cool in them, and with a $1 price tag...you can't beat that!
