Soothing repetition. Hot showers and baths are something that I do every day to unwind and de-stress. It's a huge part of my life and it deserves a moment of Project Life fame!

It was a wonderful experience, sharing Enid Miller's 85th birthday. Her home was filled to overflowing with family and friends who love her. It made me hope that when I reach her age, I'll be just as surrounded by love!

B needs glasses, and I need weaker ones. Her eyes are getting worse...mine are getting better! The human body is a strange thing sometimes. I can't wait to get our new frames this week!

The minus 30 degree weather doesn't seem to bother the kids. They love to be outside, playing in the snow, and building forts - even with the freezing wind and cold air. Crazy kids!

HUGE step out of my comfort zone to wear these 6" heels! Biggest surprise? They are quite comfortable, and I feel much more feminine while wearing them. Maybe I'll wear things like this more often!

B celebrated her birthday with a few close friends and had the time of her life. She really loves to play and imagine with her friends and sisters. It was a good day :)

I am not a decorator by any stretch of the imagination, but I DO love how the older girls' room came together, and with very little money spent. I cherish having my own "space" where I can just "be" - and I want that for my kids, too. I hope the girls appreciate having a beautiful space, and use it to develop their minds and imaginations!

One thing I absolutely LOVE is sharing what little I know with anyone who will listen - especially where photography is concerned. I am, by no means, an expert - but it excites me to help others gain a greater love for photography in some small way.

So early in the year, and already so much snow! But, with hurricanes, mudslides, earthquakes, and war happening in so many countries right now, I'll take a bit of extra snow to shovel any day! I feel very blessed to live where I live. Even when the wind is blowing and it's below 30 outside.

The story of Lehi's dream really came to life in tonight's family home evening. Daddy was Lehi, explaining his dream to us. We had such a great discussion and I think the kids really understood it's meaning! I wish every family home evening went this smoothly!

TJ was so courageous in competing in the school spelling bee! She made it from 45 students, to 10, then missed her word by one letter! So close! Keep trying so hard and having such confidence. It will take you far in life!

TJ is turning into a little singing star! She and a couple of friends were able to record a couple more songs for this year's Christmas CD from Bob King. TJ had a few solos, and even derived her OWN harmony for one of the songs. This kid has talent!

It is good to know friends with their own backyard skating rink. The kids had the time of their lives skating at the Howies. And no life-threatening injuries! Bonus!
